From may 2018 you will need to change your T&RA password to use the on-line booking system. Follow this carefully:
You now have access to RTO. Next time you log in you'll need your RTO number or email address - NOT your name.
Beware of your computer/tablet/phone remembering your old details and auto-filling. It won’t work – you need to override and/or update them.
If you are unsure which email address you have used or do not know your RTO number click on Contact Details on this page.
On the line "RTO Id or Email:" do you see your name with your RTO number in brackets?
If so delete it and put in either your RTO number or email address.
If you have recently changed your email address, or have several, you can check the email address you've given to T&RA in the 'contact details' link above"
In 2018, the Earl of Wessex is undertaking a year-long programme of engagements aimed at generating support for The Duke of Edinburgh's International Award. Through a combination of DofE events, Real Tennis tournaments and fundraising activity, His Royal Highness will enable a new generation of young people to start their DofE journey in the UK and abroad.
On May 13, 2018 Prince Edward visited Newmarket Real Tennis Club. The visit was organised with DofE by then club Chairman, Sam Sheppard. After introductions to local dignitaries, the Earl went on court to watch a Masterclass given by Club Professional, Andrew Knibbs, to pupils from Newmarket Academy and met with the young people.
He then played 3 sets of doubles tennis. Match 1 with James Allen, Sean Milbank and Oliver Phillips from RSM, which was sponsoring the event throughout the UK.
Then it was the turn of the NRTC members:
A group photo was taken of the Prince with all members present, and their guests. This was followed by informal conversations with those present.
You can read the Earl’s own account of the visit, including his regret at not making our Winning Gallery Horseshoes jingle, at: www.tennisandrackets.com By scrolling up and down from there you can read about his visits to other clubs.
